Financial Accountability - Sustaining the Fight

Developing Leaders for the Rare Disease Cause --- $686,000

“You’re not a college football player your whole life. You don’t always have the ability to make this kind of a difference to the point that we do right now.” - Uplifting Athletes Chapter Vice President

Chapter Expansion --- $436,000
Consistent with our mission of aligning college football with rare diseases and raising them as a national priority, we intend to grow to 100 chapters during the life of this campaign. Building a scalable infrastructure, recruiting chapter leaders and providing them with the necessary activation resources will ensure network sustainability.

Leadership Programs --- $215,000
Within each chapter of Uplifting Athletes exists a multitude of leadership opportunities for current football student athletes to apply lessons from the field and the classroom to a real world setting. Professional development and training will strengthen their skills for their future careers. Uplifting Athletes will facilitate cross-campus collaboration and between chapter leaders that will culminate at a national leadership conference. Ultimately, this coordinated national effort is elevating the rare disease cause.

Strategic Partnerships --- $35,000
To further develop an association between college football and rare diseases, partnerships will be forged with organizations that can help us reach our goal. This includes football based organizations, academic associations and businesses that exemplify sound corporate leadership that can support student-athlete leaders, on campus advisors and help steer our national efforts.
