Service Programs
Student-athletes, college football fans, and the rare disease community all stand to mutually benefit from the operation of an Uplifting Athletes chapter.
In line with our mission, we are dedicated to the successful execution of three main service programs:
The interdependency of the relationship between the service programs creates a unique “win-win-win” situation.
The Professional Development service program engages current football student-athletes in our organization by supplementing their college experience with job-related skills.
Once they are involved, the Societal Benefit service program provides them with the perspective and ability to make a difference and improves the situation for people affected by rare diseases by helping call attention to the charities that support them.
Equipped with the tools to make a positive and lasting impact, they activate the Public Engagement service program by mobilizing the college football community to take action and help raise rare diseases as a national priority.
All three service programs are essential where as one cannot exist without the others.
