UMD Lift For Life

The Maryland Chapter of Uplifting Athletes is working hard to fight cystic fibrosis. Our goal is to help find cures for the 30,000 Americans with this rare disease. We need your help.

We are a new chapter and we are looking to make an impact. Our plan is to donate our proceeds to the Boomer Esiason Foundation for research. We are hoping that the funds we raise will help fund a cure for this disease. We also hope to make people more aware of the effects rare diseases have on Americans. It can often become an afterthought, but there is always a way to help.

On Saturday, April 28th, we will be hosting our 3rd annual "Lift For Life." Current Maryland Football players will compete in different activities that are open to the public. You can get a peek at how we have progressed since last season. You will be able to meet and greet the players who will lead us into the season. The event will be held on the practice field next to Byrd Stadium.
