Two-time Heisman Winner Archie Griffin to Speak at the 15th Annual KeyBank Gridiron Legends Luncheon Series at the College Football Hall of Fame.  Griffin will appear as the second speaker in the 2011 KeyBank Gridiron Legends Luncheon Series presented by the College Football Hall of Fame on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Griffin has been labeled "the best football player I've ever seen" by legendary coach Woody Hayes, and his record-breaking success on the football field has had an enduring influence on the game - especially as he remains college football's only two-time Heisman Trophy winner.

For the 2011 Gridiron Legends Luncheon season, the Hall of Fame is also proud to collaborate with Uplifting Athletes. Due to their "rare" designation, such diseases are often overlooked for funding that would help research and treatment. Aligning college football with rare disease, Uplifting Athletes has established nine chapters nationwide that are organized and managed by current football student-athletes. Each chapter adopts one of nearly 7,000 rare diseases and works to bring it to the national stage through outreach, research, education and advocacy.

Griffin is the second speaker in this extraordinary annual series that features players, coaches and media personalities reflecting on their thoughts, experiences and memories of the game. Quarterback Donovan McNabb kicked off the 2011 season on May 11. McNabb was on hand as the 2011 Uplifting Athletes Rare Disease Champion, Princeton Running Back Jordan Culbreath, was honored by the College Football Hall of Fame.

Luncheons consist of a question and answer session with the featured speaker, a video presentation and lunch. Questions will also be taken from audience members. Tickets for individual luncheons are $35 per person ($25 student rate) or $270 for a table of eight. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling 574-235-5735. Each luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Century Center.
