Maryland's First Ever Lift For Life Announced

The Maryland Chapter of Uplifting Athletes will hold its first ever “Lift For Life” event Thursday, July 22nd, starting at 5 PM. The fun-to-watch strength and conditioning competition will feature member of the Terrapin football team and is open to the public.  It’s your chance to get a sneak peek at this year’s squad as they participate in this strenuous event and help a great cause.  “Lift For Life” will be held on the practice field next to Byrd Stadium.  Admission is free.

The Maryland Chapter of Uplifting Athletes has chosen to help fight cystic fibrosis.  Their goal is to help find a cure for the 30,000 Americans with this rare disease and they need your help.  The chapter’s goal is to donate any contributions made by spectators and fans at the event to the Boomer Esiason Foundation for research.
