Dr. Jeronimo Lukin was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Silvia De Rubeis’ lab at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he investigates the molecular and circuit mechanisms underlying autism spectrum disorder, with a focus on DDX3X-related neurodevelopmental disorders. He earned his Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires in 2022, conducting his research in molecular Neuroscience in the Max Planck Society partner institute in Buenos Aires under the mentorship of Dr. Damian Refojo and Dr. Antonia Marin-Burgin.
